Calendar of Events

Our events bring together friends and neighbors and like-minded folks from our community. Our meetings are notorious for intriguing topics and a great light supper for working folks. The plant raffle is one of the loudest in the state, as well as the most plentiful in interesting species. If you want to meet the "who's who" in Hernando for land preservation and botanical knowledge, the Society is for you. We look forward to meeting you!

Calendar of Events 2007

The Hernando Chapter provides educational programs and information to Hernando county's citizens interested in learning about native plants, their ecosystems, as well as all aspects of biological diversity. Our calendar features our activities, as well as those of our partners who provide programs consistent with our mission of preserving, conserving and restoring Florida's native plant communities.

Upcoming Programs

Monthly Meetings are held the first Monday of the month (unless it falls on a holiday) at the Hernando County Cooperative Extension Service 19490 Oliver Street, Brooksville. Meetings start at 6:30 p.m. Our meetings are open to the public and you do not have to be a member to attend.
